Rabbi David S. Halpern Rabbi David Halpern earned his B.A. degree from Yeshiva College and three years later received his Smicha Rabbinic Ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. In 1984, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Divinity honoris causa by Yeshiva University.

Rabbi David Halpern is founding Rabbi of Flatbush Park Jewish Center, having been called as its first rabbi in November, 1952. During his tenure, now in its 50th year, he has guided and overseen its development from humble beginnings in storefronts on Mill Avenue and later on Avenue N, to its present prominence as one of the leading Orthodox Synagogues in New York City. With close to 500 family members, the congregation actively supports Torah and religious programs in Mill Basin, in New York City, and in Israel.

Assistant Rabbi Moshe Mirsky Rabbi Moshe Mirsky received his Smicha Ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. Rabbi Mirsky studied for two years in Israel at Har Etzion Yeshiva of Gush Etzion, then returned to Yeshiva College for his B.A. Degree and ordination. Rabbi Mirsky is a member of the faculty at Yeshiva University High School for Girls and is Asst. Principal of the Schachne Synagogue School of FPJC. His duties as Asst. Rabbi include Torah programming for young and old and leading the Young People’s Shabbat Minyan.
